Phantom Blade Zero got a fresh new gameplay from S-PARTY 2025

This week, the S-Game Chinese developer hosts S-PARTY 2025, a two-day event in Beijing where fans can get directly with a highly anticipated Phantom Blade Zero. IGN India has posted a 22 -minute gameplay video from this new demonstration which shows some hidden boss fights, the discovery of secret items, and new weapons. We have instilled it below.

Phantom Blade Zero is undoubtedly one of the most awaited games in the RPG/Soul action genre, although as you remember, developers emphasize that it is not considered a game like a pure soul.

Last month, Soulframe Soulframe CEO clarified exactly what the game he thought was:

Phantom Blade Zero is not a game like a soul or a traditional action game. I always admire the creator who defines this genre. I spent years sinking in their work, drawing inspiration and learning from their brilliance. But in the process of making this game, we stumble into a path that we never expected:
At first, we just wanted to make a game that brought ‘hack and slash’ to a multi -coated map. But once the animation and environmental assets come together, everything is “sewn together” by a strong cultural aesthetics – creating something that feels very familiar to us, but rarely seen or experienced in the game.

In general, he is under the ARPG category. But more specifically, maybe it can create a new identity, the Wuxia action game? Because here you will be able to experience:

  • Jump across the roof under the rain arrow;
  • Against the pursuers on a speeding train;
  • Revealing the truth behind the incident that surprised the world many years ago;
  • And even more iconic cinema moments.

Soulframe also added that Phantom Blade Zero will display three difficulty settings (Wayfarer, Gamechanger, and Hellwalker, although the last is only opened for the second game with new+games), unlike traditional titles like souls.

This game still doesn’t have a release window, but we might learn more in Gamescom, where S-Game is arranged to present a big presence with a mass 500 m² STAN in Hall 6 (B-050G) which features more than 60 demo stations. This demonstration is said to be the most comprehensive distributed publicly until now, experiences that can be played 1 hour that displays new boss battles, striking level design, deep storytelling, and blade-to-visceral battles.

We will be in Gamescom and hope to check the new demonstration after reporting the Phantom Blade Zero Hands-On last year.
