AMD reportedly prepared several CPU Cellular, Desktop, Workstation, and Server Lineups for FP8, FF5, AM5, and FL1 sockets.
AMD to introduce Shimada Peak’s workstation, Refresh Point Krackan, and several Gorgon Point variants for cellular platforms
It seems that AMD is ready to provide its latest CPU products in the coming months, and reportedly have prepared several new lineups based on Zen 5 architecture. However, most of this will be refreshed from the existing CPU and Desktop families.
As @Olrak29_ Mentioned, the company is preparing a new CPU series for all Segments, including cellular, desktop, workstation, and data center. Starting with the main client segment, AMD will introduce Gorgon Point for desktop and cellular platforms. On the desktop, Gorgon Point will use the existing AM5 socket, and it will be the Ryzen 9000G series, replacing the Ryzen 8000G family. This will consist of a strong APU with an integrated graph based on RDNA architecture 3.5.
On the other hand, the mobile gorgon point will be divided into three differentiated categories: Gorgon Point 1, Gorgon Point 2, and Gorgon Point 3. All of them are reportedly based on the zen 5 architecture and, as per some rumors, the gorgon point 1 Cores, and Gorgon Point 3 with up to 6 Cores. Keep in mind that this has not been confirmed and only speculation.
There will be a refresh point too, and, with the number of families that are already available with Zen 5 architecture, this can be very confusing for consumers. All of this will use the FP8 socket, which is used by the Strix point series and Krackan Point. The Medusa Point family is the only one that is reported to use a slightly larger FP10 socket and will be based on Zen 6 architecture.

Next is AMD’s Soundwave, which is reported to be using the FF5 socket. Not much is available to the public about this family, but is expected to boast of the 6-Inti hybrid configuration with 2 performance cores and 4 core efficiency based on Zen 6 architecture. As for the workstation, Shimada Peak is in the work, which is a 9000 Threadripper series, displays up to 96 cores, and we recently reported about SKU 12-core budget as well.
Finally, for the data center, AMD will have an epyc fire range for mobile phones in the FL1 and EPYC grado socket for the desktop at the AM5 socket for an affordable segment. As seen by @Instlatx64, grado will be based on Zen 5 and will be followed by the EPYC 4005 naming convention.
