FIFA is raising parking prices in 2026 to an average of $175, without concessions

27 February – FIFA increases parking ticket prices at the 2026 World Cup.

The Athletic reports that the World Cup organizing body – which at this World Cup is relentless in its pursuit of money and squeezing out fans – has raised prices, including for fans with disabilities, for those who want to park near the World Cup venue. FIFA charges an average of $175 for parking in the US during the tournament.

FIFA is also increasing inventory and at MetLife Stadium, which will host the final, parking tickets for the group stage cost $225. UK – Ghanaians in Boston can cost as much as $600 for a parking ticket. At Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Colombia – Portugal fans can pay $250 for the privilege of parking their cars.

Prices increase during the knockout phase. For the World Cup final at MetLife Stadium, parking was sold out.

FIFA once again pointed to market conditions to justify high parking prices.

The global regulatory agency has also expanded its inventory to include ADA parking passes in 10 of its 11 US host cities. These passes, intended for fans protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, are available for the same price as standard parking passes.

FIFA requires disabled supporters to pay the same parking fees as regular supporters. Earlier this month, parking tickets for disabled fans at the Super Bowl cost $120.

These parking prices are on top of the highest World Cup ticket prices ever, ranging from $60 in the group stages to $8,680 in the final. Following a global backlash, FIFA in December introduced the ‘Supporter Entry Tier’, a $60 price per tournament match for the most loyal fans of competing teams.
