August 25 – FIFA will stage the final draw for the 2027 Women’s World Cup at Rio de Janeiro’s Museum of Modern Art on December 11, when it is hoped the 32-team tournament will begin to take its final shape.
The world governing body expects over 1,000 guests at MAM Rio, including delegations from qualified nations and those still heading for February’s play-off tournament.
But the draw – which will determine the eight groups and allow FIFA to complete its match schedule, allocating fixtures to the eight host cities and confirming kick-off times – is taking place amidst the ongoing threat of a boycott of all FIFA competitions by UEFA nations.
If such a boycott were to materialise, it would throw preparations for the tournament into chaos.
Brazil 2027 is set to run from June 24 to July 25, with 64 matches spread across Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Sao Paulo.
FIFA says more than 800,000 people have already registered for ticket information, with another 95,000 interested in volunteering.
Those numbers matter given the targets FIFA president Gianni Infantino has attached to the tournament.
Infantino said last year that FIFA was aiming for $1 billion in revenue from Brazil 2027, almost double the $570 million FIFA says was generated by the 2023 finals in Australia and New Zealand.
There is an even bigger commitment still hanging over Brazil.
In 2023, Infantino said FIFA’s aim was to achieve equal prize money at the 2026 men’s and 2027 women’s World Cups. The men’s tournament ultimately received a $655 million prize fund for 2026. FIFA has yet to announce an equivalent figure for Brazil 2027, leaving the pledge as one of the major financial questions around next summer’s tournament.
FIFA’s commercial handling of the women’s game has not always been smooth. Ahead of the 2023 World Cup, Infantino threatened a broadcast blackout in Europe’s five biggest markets after describing rights offers as unacceptable. A deal with the European Broadcasting Union was eventually struck just five weeks before kick-off.
Plans for Visit Saudi to sponsor that tournament were also dropped following the criticism from players and Australian organisers over Saudi Arabia’s record on women’s rights. Infantino characteristically dismissed the controversy at the time as a “storm in a teacup”.
Brazil itself won the 2027 hosting rights by 119 votes to 78 against the joint Belgium-Netherlands-Germany bid at FIFA Congress in 2024, to become the first Women’s World Cup staged in South America.
FIFA Chief Football Officer Jill Ellis said: “Football has often been described as a universal language. In Brazil, it’s also an art form. Every pass can become a brushstroke, every movement a moment of inspiration and every goal a masterpiece. The FIFA Women’s World Cup showcases the very best players in the world, and there’s no better place to begin drawing their paths through the tournament in Brazil than a venue that celebrates creativity and human expression.”

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
