May 2, EUFA has launched the Maddli’s School of Football, a new education program that is accessed free of charge for school-age children, combining learning with movements and the theme around UEFA Women Euro 2025 to come.
This initiative is part of a wider UEFA football strategy in school and functions as a key component of women’s soccer strategies. It aims to expand access to games through school and foster a generation that includes learning and active lifestyle.
Available in English, France, German and Italian, this program offers six lessons that are in line with the curriculum throughout the subjects including mathematics, language, art, science, music and sports, each designed with an integrated physical activity element to encourage children to develop a lifelong movement habits.
Targeted for teachers, coaches, and parents, modular structures allow content to be adapted for class use, soccer training sessions, or community outrections. Each subject includes clear learning objectives and encourages not only academic involvement, but also social and personal development through collaborative, movement -based challenges.
Since 2020, the football program at the UEFA school has reached more than three million children throughout Europe. The Maddli soccer school is positioned as the next big step – using the visibility of women’s euro to instill more football into daily learning and create broader social and educational impacts throughout the continent.

Juventus and Swiss attackers Alisha Lehmann supported the launch of the program with the official tournament mascot, Maddli. Saint Bernard’s puppy who was eager named Madeleine Boll, the first female licensed soccer player in Switzerland.
“I am very proud to support the UEFA soccer program in schools – soccer has given me so much, and I want every child to feel the same excitement and ownership,” Lehmann said.
