Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Review (PS5)

Solid Snake is one of the most iconic heroes of the stealth genre, perhaps even more than Sam Fisher than the fame of chips cells. But this is not a game centered around Solid Snake itself. Conversely, Snake Eater focuses on its predecessor, Big Boss, and how he can inherit the title. Initially the third title in the Solid Gear Metal series and one of the most famous stealth games of all time, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Remake whose iconic is spying -a new generation for the new generation.

In many ways, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater reminds me of how this very influential stealth title is played in Playstation 2. My younger mind will think that graphics cannot be better, and the metal gear series will continue to increase. Wrong in both ways (although I certainly have a weak point for multiple peaceful peace walkers), it might even be proof of how well this title has survived after two decades.

In essence, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater is a mission to slip where players must get everything that is visible. Armed only with silence pistols and some new tools (cigars, fake death pills, and binoculars, among others), players must rely on what they can find in the wild to survive. When players don’t even package MRE or Caloremate in their equipment, down to wildlife to support players. Besides, a few days you will feel like eating tree frogs.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake eaters begin as a simple extraction mission. As a member of Solo Fox who is in charge of infiltrating far into the enemy territory, it’s up to the player to save a weapon developer named Nikolai Sokolov and safely takes him to a safe place. Unfortunately, this quickly turned into an international incident and produced a much more deadly and deep mission to make up for this mistake. Even with games that are more than twenty years old at this time, there are still a large number of spoilers to remain silent about new players who might find the title of Metal Gear Solid to be the first time they experienced in this series.

For example everything you want from playing Delta Solid Metal Gear is an identical experience like in Playstation 2. In this case, inheritance control allows you to enjoy noble virtuous missions as intended by Kojima in 2004, good good and bad, with only a layer of fresh paint to highlight the experience. The only real negligence for snake eaters this time is a number of stock recording clips that play during the important cutscene (this was originally changed during the release of the HD collection again two generations of the past console) and the initial recording of the Cynthia Harrell snake eaters. This time, Cynthia’s icon vocals scored all the characteristics of the theme of 10 James Bond, but her new view of vocals gave a song that was familiar with almost haunting, especially during certain iconic moments where the song was played as a distraction between chaos.

Original snake eaters are developed with limitations of cameras and profitable points of view. While players can enter the appearance of the first person when directing weapons, they can freely look at the original release in the original release. With remixed control, players get a more drastic mobile experience that cuts many of these limitations. Players no longer limited can only target what is on the screen at that time, but wherever they can play the camera and peek outside. This makes finding hidden enemy patrols or easily collected easy.

Another part of the charm sneaks around in Snake Eater is the introduction of the camo system which is part of the selected game later in the series. By combining suits and face paint designs, Naked Snake gets a small percentage of stealth to show how invisible he is to the naked eye. Now it is impossible to mingle with a background with 100% success (prohibiting specific camouflage obtained by removing certain bosses with non-deadly attacks), but even the ranking of stealth in the 70s will make enemy soldiers stop if they see strange figures that slide through bushes.

If the stealth game is not your traffic jam and you are only in it for the story, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater still offers the same difficult difficulties that reward players with what are called EZ weapons that can calm most enemy soldiers in one shot while also increasing their camo index by 80% by having a weapon that is equipped. Now you will not be able to get a higher ranking needed to settle the 100% trophy (defeating the game with the first Foxhound rating requires playing games in extreme mode with certain criteria, which, in turn, opened by defeating the game for the first time).

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater found that he was trapped in a strange position where the first players and Graniny Gorki experts found that this remake might not be far enough. Yes, it has been completely overhauled to work in a new machine that is not named animals, but it should be noted, the bar for the bar, the naked trip Snake plays it is too safe without real improvement that will justify other trips to the wilderness that is brought to the next table such as MGS3: subsistence and snake eaters taken to the table.

One thing that I have to give to Konami Props for now is to manage to include all the players remember (with a clear online metal gear elimination) and this is even a Minigame Guy Savage who here is remembered as a Nightmare Snake (if the pa-medic advises you to rest at important points in the story, recommended to follow his advice and save your game. A stranger’s Cutscene all made again at the Unreal Engine 5 with the original audio and even some new surprises have never been seen before.

Apropos from Nothing, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a perfect de facto way to experience resurrection and fall from a large boss. Each detail has been perfected carefully and brought to modern standards while not leaving anything in the past. Although this also means maintaining a camp and Jank, there is no better way to experience the title of the first solid metal gear in the timeline.
