Xess 2.1 Latest SDK Intel has brought the support of Xess 2 Frame-Generation & Low Late technology to NVIDIA & AMD GPU.

Inteh has just announced the release of the latest Xess Xess 2.1.0, which adds support for the making of Xess frames with low latency support for non-intellectual GPUs. This means that users who run GPU Nvidia, AMD, Qualcomm can now utilize the Xess 2 feature set, and not limited to their exclusive improvement technology.
Introducing the generation of xess frames with low latency XE support for non-intellectual GPUs:
- Requires the support of the Shader Model 6.4
- Standalone Xell is not supported in Non-Intel GPU
Xess Super Resolution Vulkan API Improvement:

- Support of enhanced volcanic validation layers
- Bug repair and increased stability
New features will be available in all GPUs that support the Shader Model 6.4. It is stated that Xell will not be available as an independent feature but will be available while running Xess 2 frame-gen. Other SDK improvements for super xess 2 resolution include various increases in volcanic fires, which are a good addition.
Intel Xess 2 technology was announced last year with the “Arc B-Series” Battlemage family. This is the technology of the first generation of Intel’s frame, which uses the XMX engine that is infused with AI. In accordance with image quality and game performance comparison, this technology matches FSR 4 and DLSS 4 in terms of quality improvement, & the generation of frames also function well. Nvidia still holds the edges of more than AMD and Intel with its MFG DLSS mode, which can be discharged up to 4x mode.
In May 2025, Xess was supported in more than 200 matches, while Xess 2 support was added to more than 20 matches. The new SDK will make it easier for developers to add xess 2 support in more games, while simultaneously supports a variety of GPUs.
