Intel’s next generation “Diamond Rapids” Xeon CPUs will offer up to 512 cores, while Coral Rapids will bring back SMT on an 8-channel platform in 2028.

Intel Diamond Rapids 16-Channel Launches in 2027, Equipped with Up to 512 Cores

Intel’s Diamond Rapids “Xeon” CPUs were set to launch this year, but delays in plans have pushed it to 2027. This delay could be due to several reasons, such as results and the fact that the 8-channel line was cancelled.

Now, Intel plans to launch a Diamond Rapids “Xeon” CPU in 2027. According to Jaykihn, Intel’s mid-2027 plans for Diamond Rapids include a volume launch on a 16-channel platform. Diamond Rapids is expected to ramp up to 256 cores initially and will peak at 512 cores a few months after the 16-channel launch. This will also be the last of the Xeon lineup to come with a Non-SMT architecture. Additionally, the Diamond Rapids lineup will utilize Panther Cove-X as a P-Core architecture.

Diamond Rapids’ standard 16-channel and 512-core Diamond Rapids CPUs will be compatible on the same platform. This means data centers don’t need different sockets or platforms to support Intel SKUs with higher core counts.

For Diamond Rapids, Intel will introduce two new tiles. First, we have the CBB “Core Building Blocks” that will be the compute tiles, and the key detail is that, unlike Granite Rapids, which adds IMC on the same tile, Diamond Rapids will separate them. Initial platform details highlight a TDP of up to 650W on an LGA 9324 platform with multi-socket capabilities.

After Diamond Rapids, Intel will introduce Coral Rapids, bringing back P-Cores with SMT support. The lineup is expected to launch in mid-2028 with an 8-channel platform, but based on recent comments from Lip-Bu Tan, it will likely be accelerated due to increased CPU demand for Agentic AI workloads.

Intel’s Xeon CPU lineup is expected to gain major traction, with a dedicated x86 SKU featuring NVLINK in the works and set to be handed over to NVIDIA as the AI giant diversifies its CPU lineup into x86 and Arm offerings. Expect to hear more about Xeon in the coming months.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
