If you are not aware, Gamescom has a series of your own awards given at the annual event chosen by independent judges, with the aim of appreciation is “To respect extraordinary games, extension, exhibitors, booths, merch, as well as announcements and trailers“Per award regulation. For Gamescom 2025, there is a clear winner, with Capcom and Resident Evil Requiem who touched the spotlight and became one of the three matches to bring home many awards.
Resident Evil Requiem brought home a win for the best visuals, the best audio, the most epic games, and the best Sony Playstation games at this year’s event. The only other title that took several awards was Hela, the most entertaining and healthier indie games, and Anno 117: Pax Romana, who won the best PC game and the best booth, although technically the last went to Ubisoft for Anno 117: PAX Romana Booth.
Another important victory in this year’s award is that Hollow Knight Silksong brought home a prize for the best trailer, which is one of the few awards that was not chosen by the jury that had been chosen before, but by the general public.
