August 21 – The Bundesliga has confirmed a large number of UK broadcast agreements that attract headlines to the new season, including interesting partnerships with Youtuber Mark Goldbridge.
Sky Sports will remain a Bundesliga broadcast partner in England, continue to show the “top match” Saturday night and weekly spotlight.
In addition, Prime Video has received exclusive rights for all Sunday equipment based on payment per show, which includes promotional/degradation play-offs and Supercup Franz Beckenbauer ahead of the 2026-27 season.
And uMore than a multi-year-old agreement, the BBC will stream every match on Friday night directly on the iplayer and through websites and sports applications.
The campaign began on Friday with Bayern Munich V RB Leipzig broadcasting free on various platforms in England and Ireland.
But the main announcement came in the form of a large Bundesliga new Youtube strategy.
He has placed his trust in Goldbridge-Sinjar which was widely worshiped by several people and was widely ridiculed by others-who had won the right to stream 20 Bundesliga matches this season in the first agreement of its type.
Experts say the agreement presents a unique opportunity to access audiences that cannot be achieved for the main channels such as the Bundesliga, in ways that have never been considered serious before.
“This decision does not take a traditional approach in which exclusive partners are sought to maximize income. Conversely, the right to non-exclusive life has been given to many partners for the same game,” commented Richards Davies, partners in the sports team in the law firm Charles Russell spoke.
“While content makers are very unlikely to pay significant rights fees, they represent an interesting part of the free-to-air mixture. Goldbridge has followers that the official Bundesliga YouTube channel may not be able to access alone, so an agreement recognizes that some YouTuber may have reached the main channel status.
“Because the media market continues to be fragmented, we tend to see more than non-exclusive multi-platform offers in the future.”
Goldbridge statistics will not be ridiculed. The Dedicated Manchester YouTube channel, United Stand, has more than 2.1 million customers, and involves viewers watching their direct reactions to the United Games.
The idea behind giving broadcasting rights to content makers is to offer the same experience, but with bonuses can also watch the match directly.
20 matches will be broadcast on that’s football, a channel organized by Goldbridge, whose real name is Brent in Cesare, which has more than 1.3 million customers.
After the announcement, a Goldbridge clip stating the Bundesliga “SH*T” in episode 2021 from the event to become an online viral.
And ironically, the Bundesliga has also approved an agreement to overlap to show 20 matches this season, starting Friday. A popular podcast with its own YouTube channel, The Overlap features some of the biggest names of English football including Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Gary Neville – who are not Goldbridge fans and after stating that the creator of content will never be invited to the event.
Peer Naubert, Chief Executive Officer of the Bundesliga International, said: “We are happy to announce the ranks of media partners who look new as part of our multi-platform strategy in the UK and Ireland.
“Our approach is diverse as our supporters: By combining established announcements with digital platforms and content makers, we take progressive steps in how high -level football can be experienced.
“This layered strategy allows us to connect with more spectators in England and Ireland, giving every supporter of the opportunity to be involved with football as intended to be the most appropriate way to them.”
The Bundesliga has also approved a four -year contract with United Media for coverage in Balkan and Southeast Europe.
In recent weeks, the Bundesliga rights have also been taken by Dazn in Japan and the State-Owned Media and Viettel heavyweight telecommunications in Vietnam, while the League also approved an extension in Italy with paid Italian Sky.
