Man City a big score of victory with the APT League Premier League Regulation Rules ‘cannot be implemented’

February 17 – Defending champions Manchester City may find it difficult in the field to maintain their dominance but beyond that they have scored a significant victory over the Premier League.

Last Friday, an independent court assumed that the sponsorship rules in the league for almost three years were “canceled and could not be carried out” in a big blow to the league.

The verdict followed the previous decision by a court that found three aspects of the so -called related party transaction rules that run between December 2021 and November 2024 to violate the law. Both parties at that time claimed victory.

The latest decision follows the legal challenges by Manchester City on APT rules, which regulates commercial agreements between clubs and companies related to their owners if considered above the reasonable market value.

The result means that all related party transactions (APT) between 2021 and 2024 can now be debated, increasing the great concerns that other clubs on the top of England will seek compensation for each transaction that is blocked or reduced its value during that time. The Premier League must pay a legal bill that can reach tens of millions of pounds.

“Three respect in which the appropriate rules and the rules that are changed invalid cannot be decided by the results that the appropriate rules as a whole are not valid and cannot be implemented,” the court assesses.

The purpose of the right rules-designed in December 2021 after the takeover of the Saudi Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) led by Saudi (PIF) from Newcastle-is that the Premier League regulates his club using a sponsorship agreement with companies related to their owners to develop the flow income and allow space for greater expenditure.

City argues the rules – which are designed to prevent the richest club from puffing out the value of the agreement to spend more on players – breaking the law and breaking the law of competition.

Most importantly, however, this case is separated from more than 100 accusations given to City for allegedly violating financial regulations with the awaited verdict with the expected enthusiasm in the coming weeks.

If City is found guilty, severe sentences can be handed down, with severe fines, embargo transfers or the reduction of paralyzed points.
